Are you ready for chapter books? Grab an adult to join you and come ready to discuss, have fun and make new friends.

Each month a free copy of the next month’s “book of the month” will be given to those attending to keep and add to their home libraries.

For children ages 6-9 with a participating adult. No older or younger children, please.

This month we are reading The Sisters Eight: Annie's Adventure by Lauren Baratz-Logstead.

One particular New Year’s Eve, the eight Huit girls wait for their parents to return home… but they don’t. Poof, they’re gone! You must see the problem here. Eight little girls on their own, no mommy or daddy to take care of them. This is not a good thing. Luckily, they do seem to have someone or something helping them. Notes keep appearing behind a loose brick in the fireplace - but who are the notes from and where did their Mom and Dad go?
