Event Details
Make 2021 a little brighter with your own light-up greeting card! Join us on Zoom (link provided upon registration), beginning at 6 pm. We'll learn how to build a basic electrical circuit on paper, then add our circuit to a card to gift or keep for yourself!
Register before January 15 to receive a project kit.
Missed the January 15 deadline? The Library has a limited number of Project kits available during curbside service. Pick up a kit and join us on January 25!
Project kit includes:
- Paper card template
- Copper foil tape
- LED lights
- Coin cell battery
- Small card decorations
- Washi tape
Nice to have, but not required to complete the project:
- Adhesive (clear scotch tape)
- Scissors
- Additional card decorations
Get creative and join others to learn how to make stuff! Our monthly project will feature a variety of projects and tools, including recycled crafts, sewing and basic mending, 3D design, fiber arts, paper-making, stamp-carving, watercolor, embroidery, cooking, baking, painting, and more!
Projects are suitable for older teens and adults. No experience is necessary. See the monthly program description to learn about that month's project and the tools you'll need to create along with us
To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a microphone. The link and password to join the event will be emailed to registrants. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if needed.
